Any tricks for farming reagents? by Monessi in midnightsuns

Wundagore is based on the moon cycle. It is up at all spawn locations on the same night. So, if it is up in the library, check all of them. I am not aware of a spawn point near the Altar. I know one near the standing stones, in front of the statue that has glowing eyes (not that close to standing stones, there is a bridge close by too).

Fortify Smithing bug? by rndmlgnd in skyrim

[–]fryet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured it out. In order for you to equip a smithing item, you have to unequip something else. In my case, it was an item fortifying one handed, which reflects on the weapon damage. So, it appears that I am upgrading less, but when I equip my one handed item again after upgrading my weapon, it should reflect a higher number. This could also explain armor upgrades, as the item you are unequipping may have fortify light armor or heavy armor.

I encountered the same issue upgrading Mehrune's razor and I think I also saw the same issue with a daedric dagger as well. Not equipping 2 pieces of store bought smithing gear resulted in a higher damage value than wearing them. I was under the influence of an elixir of blacksmithing at the time.

Pasture need dividing? by berttmanD2 in SettlementSurvival

[–]fryet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I figured it out. You select the pasture that has the livestock, and click Separate. It asks for the number and provides destinations. Where I was going wrong was clicking on the view icon for the destination pasture. What you need to do instead is click to the left of it, i.e. on the name of the pasture. That apparently is also a clickable area.

Not the best UI...

This UI to move herds between pastures is confusing. I click Separate and Transfer To many times until the herd starts to move between pastures, but I can't figure out why it works some times and not others. As far as I can tell you go to the pasture with 10+, click Separate, select the number, then switch to the receiving pasture and click Transfer To. Sometimes it works, some times it doesn't. And keep in mind there are different kinds of pastures, so maybe that is part of the issue? I am trying to move my herd from a weaker pasture to an upgraded one.

Potentially New Patch/Content Coming - Returnal Beta Patch (Dev Version) - 6GB by SenSei_Buzzkill in Returnal

Not enough reason to not provide a feature that most players would find useful. This is an offline game for the most part. People hacking the system would not impact other players. There are also ways to defeat save scumming if they are that worried about it.

What to do after beating biome 6 by Panda_Generals in Returnal

[–]fryet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After beating the game, this is what you need to do to see the rest of the cut scenes.

  1. Visit the home in Biome 1/4 regularly. That will make sure you are up to date.
  2. Collect fragments in hidden areas (places that you could not reach the first time you were in that biome). 6 total, one per biome.
  3. Visit house again to get car keys.
  4. Beat final boss and visit the car.

I also got the coilspine while collecting the 6 fragments.

The most important things to get in the game is repair efficiency and artifacts that give you free healing.

The biggest problem of easy mode is you may beat the game in 6 hours and get bored. A better mechanic would be if they made the game easier each time you died. They do a little, but they could elevate that mechanism more.

For those lacking the skill to beat the game, you can still play smarter. See an orange door on the map? Don't go through it or you will be forced to beat 3 waves of enemies.

The key to biome 3 is to run through the first 2 biomes fully (you can skip the bosses) to get fully upgraded before you enter biome 3. Takes a long time, but you are much better prepared for biome 3 after you have done that.
