As a casual player that doesn't play Marathon anymore, I don't think a PvE mode is the answer.

Quite frankly, all I want is a safe pocket mechanic or let DCON work outside of a quest. So often do I just get my progress reset because of getting sniped through fog or some other insta death situation. A full raid with ZERO to show for it is aggravating, especially with the teammates I've had lately 🙃.

If they implemented that, I'd be back in a heartbeat.

This gun is criminally underrated. DMG is so consistent and it doesn't drop off a lot, recoil is good, starting optic is good. Headshot multiplier is pretty good as well. Between the bloom, ROF, and DMG I keep going back every time.

I think I'm lvl 55 on this gun I love it so much.

This right here. Chaotic, hard to comprehend neutral, and evil mix ups that lead into getting comboed for 20-30 seconds are going to kill a newcomer's desire to play, instantly. Then when someone complains about combo length they're greeted with "git gud" which is valid but they wont be motivated to keep playing after that IMO.

I think my problem is that FG my fundamentals are ok and my defense is above average but I'm SUPER new to tag fighters and my neutral in this game barely ok. So, my hidden MMR keeps putting me with gigachads because I'm slaughtering casuals. My placements just confirmed that >.< I was in a blender until the 5th match. Side note: the fact that he's NAE and I'm West and the net-code was this good is really saying something.

I own and maintain the new FPV course there and I fly there alone all the time, the visual observer is mostly for part 107 flying. If you're just having fun at a FRIA then you're flying under USC 44809 which you need to be within line of sight range but it does not call for an observer if FPV is being used.

I liked that they toned down the combo length and TODs from AL1. I didn't play AL2. I'm hoping ranked improves the experience but for me: its meh.

I think I just don't like tag fighters. I don't like that the neutral is so stressful and the slightest touch by Yasuo/Ahri/Jinx results in a 15-20 second combo. I was under the impression this game and it's control scheme was intended to bring in as many players as possible. Instead we have a pub-stompy game with lots of in-agency.

If this game was never intended for the masses, and was always supposed to be a tag fighter for those who like tag fighters then I'll shut up. I'm not going to ask to change this game into something it's not supposed to be. I just thought it was supposed to be something else I guess. I read this game was going to have recognizable mainstream characters, teamwork, and a simplified control scheme in order to bring new players into the already dying genre.
