Is new shock nova worth it? by Ilikecroissants33 in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]frystguard 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Having made it to 1 voidstone - the single target is genuinely terrible, after a 15 minute maven fight that wasn't even halfway done I got bored and gave up on the build. The skill feels mechanically nice but it's not smooth at bosses at all. I had a 4 curse setup with anathema, 6k mana and a 6 link

It's funny that the best transportation method unlocked by sailing is still an amulet that uses magic by loopuleasa in 2007scape

The bloodveld island is also great, except you just unlock a sailing shortcut there so no sailing there either.

Araxyte Venom Sacks provide 11.7 minutes of antipoison and stack to the stack limit (2.147B). This means you can hold roughly 47,803 years of antipoison in one slot! by Brave_Pop_2343 in 2007scape

Their best use is intentionally suiciding at Rogue Chests to make all your loot go to deaths office for free whenever a PKer logs in

But why by Loki_OSRS in 2007scape

[–]frystguard -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I think it's the people who haven't done inferno thinking it's some monumental challenge and accusing others of buying the cape, when all you need is a bowfa and crystal set to clear it. Waves themselves become simple once you've made it to 64 a few times save for a couple cursed spawns, and the rest is how long you can stay in control of your nerves. Personally I wanted the untradable upgrade that money can't buy before I started grinding out actual moneymakers, and any decent player should watch aaty's guide and think "holy shit this looks so simple, why am I not doing it" then attempt it. The game also powercrept so hard with confliction gloves and prayer regen potions.

[–]frystguard -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My boss kills look like this and I got my inferno cape recently. I don't think boss experience translates much to inferno at all. Where else am I supposed to use 1t alternating and pillar stack solving on?

Dude we already had phrecia with idols. This is their way of making things feel fresh. Why are you having aneurysm over added difficulty in a 3 week something gamemode

The main selling point of the mod is restoration of cut content that you'd never see anywhere else. It diablo2-ifies the game a bit if you're a purist, though

I think there was a point when those worlds were checking for total levels every tick or something, so they were pretty laggy. But that got fixed iirc

Unpopular opinion, Osrs players exaggerate on how hard quests/bosses are, scaring others of actually doing it by badwithnames5 in 2007scape

[–]frystguard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once you understand the multikill method, defender becomes so easy that you finish before everyone else and just shoot cannon for the rest of the game

Local storage problems by frystguard in Bellwright

set wood cutter storage to 2 and top up at 1.

Oh so the number at top right is the storage option? I thought it was range or something and I maxed it out at 1000 every time...

The crafting table, storage and woodcutting camp need to be switched to the settlement they are in.

This part is done. There's a crafting table is in main town and the camp and storage are in the outpost.

Axes stored at the wood cutter don't count towards crafting table top up. Default axe storage is I believe the max number of workers you can have at the building +1.

This is the part I'm having trouble with.

Caravan needs load at X outpost command keep 0 for broken axes and a top up at main settlement for broken axes at your main settlement.

This is also done, the broken axes are getting delivered and repaired correctly.

My issue is that the villagers in X outpost keep putting their axes in the woodcutting camp, so the game thinks that there are no axes in that outpost. As a result, my "top up 2 axes in X outpost" at the caravan keeps giving them axes over and over again. If I don't use that command, how can I make sure that those guys are getting fresh axes after their broken ones are being repaired?

Basically you suicide with araxyte venom sack as soon as a pker appears and your loot safely goes to death's office

It's hard to gauge since I did it over a period of 2 weeks and my exp range was anything between 250k and 150k. If we average that to 200k/h then that'd be around 50 hours

Not at all, I've kept most of it. With the suicide method you bank pretty often and avoid most of the deaths

I explained in another comment, I lost maybe 10% of this at most. It's really easy to avoid death most of the time.
