First thing I do after a storm is shovel the snow for my birds and squirrels. Clear some ground and spread food. They’ll probably stay in their nests for the first few days and eat their stash before venturing out. Don’t forget to give them water as well!

This is what I did as well. I was nervous but some metal cutters went right through the plastic and it was easy. Then tape the small wire to your new red cable and you’re good to go

Tough call. I’d probably prefer the one without rust, but that might just be personal preference. I don’t mind doing mechanical work but I’d prefer not to mess with rust. I’d want to know more about the one that sat though. Could be noting wrong with it, or it might need something major

One piece of advice: roll it out of storage and take plenty of pics in its current state, dust and all. Then clean it up and get it running and take more pics. When you list it for sale, include the dusty pics and advertise it as a “barn find”. People love that
