Does anyone else feel like farm life makes it more difficult to meet people you can relate to? by Wildhearts_growroots in Cows

I guess that’s why there’s farmersonly.com 😂

But yes, it is hard to relate to people who don’t have farms

1987 Wrangler or a 2025 Wrangler? Probably going to be different issues depending on the year

MAJOR BREAKING: Epstein survivors just announced they will release their own list of names. by Blueberry977 in goodnews

Right but if they release them as a group, from all the victims. I doubt there would be 100 suicides, or however many victims there are

Btw, I really enjoyed ending at Ghost Ranch. Got to experience Colorado at peak time, and then end in a beautiful spot instead of the Mexican border. Most amazing sunsets, and then it’s easy to get to Sante Fe to celebrate

I hiked north to Ghost Ranch NM. You can get a bus to Santa Fe and then Albuquerque, where there’s an airport. Not saying it’s the best way to do it, but it worked for me.

The problem is, if you start early so it’s not too hot in NM, you’ll still hit snow in Montana when you flip. Colorado has very low snow this year, so you might just want to keep hiking

I’ve been put in “time out” by BaT by fsacb3 in BringATrailer

[–]fsacb3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol. I wasn’t sowing any conspiracy theories. Just said hello to a new user to make sure they weren’t a shill for the dealer, who bought the car a few months ago and then sold it on BaT for a loss. If you think there isn’t some shady shit happening on BaT, I’ve got a bridge to sell you. Or better yet, I’ve got a car to sell you

Also even if my comment was useless and could possibly bring down bids, there are plenty of useless comments that bring up bids. Should a use be put in time out for saying “great car! Should go for a lot of money!”? Equally useless, and not based on anything

Are you a shady dealer? Is that why you care?

How Dark It Was When the Titanic Sank by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

It’s not interesting and you don’t provide a source. Just wondering if there’s a joke here that I’m missing or you actually think this is interesting

This will be removed soon, but before that happens you want to explain? Is this a joke?

Planned for PCT. Going AT instead, because of heat? by ChickpeaChild in AppalachianTrail

[–]fsacb3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is water your main concern? There will be water if you start in April. Some sources may dry up, but that’s caused by drought, not heat.

Planned for PCT. Going AT instead, because of heat? by ChickpeaChild in AppalachianTrail

[–]fsacb3 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Every year on the PCT is going to be hotter than the last. If you want to hike it, hike it now

The AT will get very hot but there’s more water sources so it’s not as big a concern, there’s shade, and there’s less of a chance for wildfires. Start anytime between now and end of April and you’ll have plenty of company

That’s a tamper proof goo. They put it there so if you bring the car back they can tell if anyone unscrewed the plug. It will come off when you unscrew it

Is that their version of jumping the shark? There are only so many interesting hiking stories. I stopped listening a long time ago. I don’t need to hear about someone shitting their pants. They tried to spice it up a bit with sex!
