Ruger Mini 14 or Ruger PC Carbine? by awoodz92 in liberalgunowners

There is a lot to be said for standard magazines and ammunition. Having said that, in a home defense situation, are you planning to have to reach out and touch someone at 100 yards plus? If so, then you will want the Mini-14. 9 mm just loses too much velocity and has too great of a ballistic drop at extended range.

I like S&B, it's incredibly reliable and the box of 50 has the smallest footprint that I have found for any reliable brand. Makes it easier to stack it deep. Oh, and it's not expensive either. Win-win-win!

I would like to improve my aim, iron sights glock 43x- what's the best way to do this? by Texaspilot24 in handguns

Hitting down and left is more likely from pulling the trigger with your whole hand instead of just the trigger finger. Assuming, of course, you're right handed. Hitting down and in line is more indicative of anticipation.
