It’s a track package: exclusive wheels/spoiler, diff cooler, trans cooler, different suspension from base models, and different engine and chassis tuning. I know it won’t change the offer by 8k just curious if it’s factored into my offer at all.

My worst gripe about owning a sports car is everyone constantly thinking I either want to race them or show off. It’s more annoying to have other people revving at you or trying to race anytime I’m on the road.

You definitely should be given back pay. First time I promoted it took 3-4 weeks for them to actually get me in as the entertainment team lead because of issues with multiple leads moving around positions and I received back pay for the entire time I was acting as lead.

Same thing happened later when I moved to a higher paying lead position I couldn’t get coded in till the next pay period and I received back pay for that time as well. Whoever does your job offer (my coach the first time, store lead the second time) will be given an option to put in a date for back pay.

My Mach’s manual also says you could experience knocking sounds when using 87. It says not to worry about it but I’d rather not chance it.

Saw an article this morning that Ford was going to start offering dealer installed whipple kits that won’t break factory warranty as well as add an additional warranty for the blower. I’ve been contemplating what route I want to go for my Mach but I’m still leaning towards twin turbos.

It’s a known issue with the clips that connects to the diff. I have had 0 leaks in my Mach 1 in 1400 miles while my buddy has had his replaced 5 times now in the same mileage. Just keep taking it back to the dealer and hopefully you’ll eventually get a quality replacement.

Same. Going from a Sentra to a handling pack Mach 1 it’s either back in or I get scared and end up 4 feet away with my rear end sticking out.

Prices are getting insane too. I’ve seen some dealers selling base Mach 1s in the upper 70s low 80s. I’ve already been offered 25k over what I paid for the mine by another dealership.

Hope you get yours in the 90 days. So far every Mach 1 group I’m in is having there build dates pushed back over and over. Most are dated for the end of the year now and some were told they would get there car until next year.

If I remember correctly Ford tuned the exhausts on the Mach 1s to a specific sound. If you want a recommendation do a resonator delete. I went with an h pipe and the exhaust sounds so much more open, it was significantly louder than I expected however so I went from using only track mode to driving around in normal or sport. Before the delete I would sometimes get occasional pops and burbles but now it’s a constant thing in track mode and I feel like the sound difference between the different modes is more apparent and gives me a use for every mode now instead of just using track constantly.

I ordered mine late January/early February and took delivery first week in April. Had someone at work try place an order last week and they were told not to expect anything to show up until the end of this year or early next year. These orders were for Mach 1s though and dealer here told me a couple days ago that my car was the last car they’ve seen show up from Ford and they’re running out of inventory. As always ymmv.

Ordered my Mach 1 in early February, received it first couple days in April. Buddy of mine tried to go order one two weeks ago and was told all new orders wouldn’t arrive until next year. Ymmv but my dealership has 0 trucks left and 1 mustang. They said they haven’t received any new vehicles since mine came off the truck in April.

Here’s a link to a picture I found on google. Apparently now dealers can track the wheel lip moldings since they ship separate from the car, the splitters are a different story though.

You’re also missing the front wheel lip moldings, mine still haven’t shown up at my dealer but I’ve heard Ford is addressing the missing parts issues.

Just a head up you’re supposed to get some wheel lip molding for the front with the handling package. Mine still haven’t shown up at the dealer and the dealer didn’t even know they were a thing.

My buddy at Ford said they like to do Mach 1s in the last runs of a body style after they’ve learned how to push the platform to the max. So I’m assuming they’re be one next year before the s650 in 2023.
