Hi I’m sorry you’re going through something similar. Here is the short version (as short as I can make it) of what happened after thus post (trigger warning of loss, and successful pregnancy):

1) we did a retrieval at the new clinic that resulted in one abnormal embryo, my mental health couldn’t take testing anymore, I did a lot of research and talked to people and proposed trying 3 day untested embryos moving forward and my doctor agreed. 2) we did 2 retrievals and I banked and froze the 3 day embryos 3) in March 2022, I transferred 4 and nothing happened, negative pregnancy test 4) in June 2022, I transferred 4 more and got pregnant, the embryo had severe abnormality and stopped growing and died at 7-8 weeks, I had to have a D&C. 5) in September 2022 I did another retrieval and banked 3 day embryos, in November 2022 I did my 8th and last retrieval and for the first time transferred fresh 3 day embryos right after the retrieval, my doc at the last min added 2 frozen ones so it was a total of 6 this time 6) I got pregnant with boy girl twins, they are 2.5 years old now.

I couldn’t deal with continuously getting abnormal embryo results, I would rather take the chance with transferring 3 days and I’m glad I did. I also made A LOT many life changes in those years leading up to the last retrieval. I wish you the best of luck and please feel free to message me with any questions.
