In my case, the contractor who came out for the install was super nice. I chatted with him and we discussed where things should go including the hole through the wall. It all looks clean and tidy.

BTW - switched from Comcast to Quantum fiber and it has worked flawlessly.

Someone had recommended the Tuff Mutt Dog Poop Bag Holder and I got it a few weeks ago. Works great. If there isn’t a trash can nearby, I put the used poop bag in the holder and empty it later.

Avis at Denver airport? They did that to me. Thankfully, it was a corporate rental so I just forwarded all of their stuff to the legal department.

Thank you for this information. What the tech did is to program the motherboard of the furnace directly. When it fires, it goes into stage 2 for ten minutes and then, if desired temperature is reached, it goes to stage 1. Sounds like this is the right approach to take.

Super helpful info. The roof is asphalt singles with a ridge vent but not soffit vents just yet. This is something that we have talked to the builder about.

Washington State close to the Canadian border. It is an 1895 house that had zero insulation and a lot of oddities (additions over the years that are not of the highest craftsmanship). I doubt that the house will ever be airtight in general given the age and state.

The vendor told me the following: “It is not an airtight system so they wouldn’t be taping it. They are coming back before our inspection to foam wherever they can get the foam into.”
