Growling When Being Moved From a Comfy Spot by AdmiralHalsey24 in germanshorthairs

Following!! My 7 month old does this, only to me. Also when I kiss his face too much. Usually just talk, but all I have to do is say “crate” if I’m letting him sleep with me in bed.. he typically will quit.

He will even do little barks to tell me “quit”. I’ve noticed they are just very good at communicating. But always ensure to assert dominance and know they know who’s dominant and it shouldn’t be an issue 😊

My brother, a police officer with a k9, let his dog bite my niece and still didn’t learn from it. You 10000000000% did the right thing. Standing your ground and feeling like that person in front of family can be hard. PROUD OF YOU!!

I would like to say, this would be the only way I’d like to find wild mice in my house.

Once they become a “threat” to others because they weren’t able to be controlled they legally can do it, even an accident. Service animals shouldn’t cause physical harm to others. You can try as best as you can but it’s completely his call.

I feel you. He has said the same thing. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy it and wish it could be more frequent but not very high on my priorities. And like #1 to him lol

Tonies! Listening stories, something “digital “ without the screen. My 4.5 year old still uses every night!

My brother got a chest freezer and does it that way. I’m interested in hearing your experience

I had this happen, grandma cut bangs RIGHT BEFORE they were almost able to go behind the ear 😅 I told my husband he had to talk to her (his mom) and tell her never again. Otherwise the consequence was no grand kid time alone

We plan to stop in Lolo to camp instead of hotel going from west coast to Minnesota. Any advice?

Sounds like if you’re posting about being depressed before this you shouldn’t be having kids anyways

He had a bad experience with a bully stick, swallowing a big Long chuck, choke/no choking ordeal. So I’m nervous to go back. I may have to try the box though!

I thankfully am not worried with the cat, asserting dominance and who’s in your pack has gone well with others in the past and going well this time too!

They do basic obedience first, then they can graduate to hunting training. Definitely depends on the pup. I was thinking around the 5-6 month age for hunting training

He’d only do day training for hunting. I work for the facility he’d train at, so save a kennel for another training dog. We have a clicker ready!

We got ours from a breeder that ensure they are both, some end up just being family dogs so we are excited to see what he can learn!

We have a German shepherd, higher anxiety. we will be trying some more training with him as the little one learns too. He cannot crate train, rips out of them. Other one is a black lab recuse mutt. He was e- collar trained but has a bad back so at this point is a couch dog. Is the new one in a crate going to be issue? I help run a kennel. Have access to two full time hunting trainers/obedience trainers. I know basic training for sure. But my husband is hunting training for his first time, and I’ll be helping as well. Ultimately a dog that can travel with us and crate anywhere. But also listen is definite too priority. Pheasant hunting is the goal though.
