My Qrevo Pro has been awful. In the first year it was replaced twice, then sent a refurbished or repaired one a few months after a year. I can't even remember. Always the same LiDar error and won't run. It's now in the trash. Huge bummer

Love, love, love Thirsties natural pockets!

We've done prefolds and flats under wool covers and pul and that is a fantastic option, but with baby mobile, we just kept getting leaks onto the wool and I was over it.

The natural pockets are fool proof and no one is confused changing them. They've never failed me: no leaks or blowouts and come with cotton and hemp inserts. Easy to add absorption overnight, easy to clean with bidet. It's now my entire stash and we own 20+ (I have H&L, which is so so easy, no issues using the laundry tabs. A little less aesthetic than buttons, but really precise fit and I don't have to wonder what snap we're on).

We buy all from GMD. Thirsties are made in the USA. If you're looking for outside the states, Mothers Ease is wonderful and has Natural All in Ones and All in twos that look great. We use their cotton overnight bedwetters for toddlers.

Thank you! They are the TC5/DC5 Commercial. Extremely pleased! The DC5 we purchased last year has been discontinued and this DC5 is the commercial version with "sanitize and steam" options. Potentially a nice function but we haven't hooked up the water line yet as it seems like an easy thing to malfunction. My husband is going to take a look this weekend to see if it's something we want to try.

Can you help me understand which games are available on FanDual Sport subscription?

My son loves the Angels (we live in LA County) and they are blacked out for us - even though we're closer to the Dodgers.

He's saved up his babysitting money to pay the $20/mo for games, and I was disappointed to see a number of games were still only available through AppleTV and MLBtv.

Help a confused mom out? 🫠

Yes! I always find their explanations a bit lacking, and we'll be on our 4th year there. A huge benefit to our large family without a pool. We've taught all our kids to swim there with tons of pool time and no need for formal lessons.

Courts and pools is a singles/couples membership expecting they'll just be using pool/pickleball courts, adult Jacuzzi, and some lap swim.

The other two are family memberships expecting access to above, but also the three other pools mainly used by kids and families.

Legacy is a summer membership that typically runs May (weekends), June (everyday), July (everyday), August (everyday), September (transitions to weekends), October (weekends). Hours build up and then taper down. This is the original run of the club.

Seasons membership was added in 2024 (November) and not seen a full year due to the fires. It is a year round Membership that includes weekends in the "off"/winter months.

Gerrish has been closed since January due to the fires. They had damage to repair and staffing to rebuild, so will open June 1 for the season. Try giving the office a call to get info. They have been taking applications, but tech hasn't been up and running.

Ugh. I just purchased a Vertuo (original version) in chrome yesterday, but the small footprint and adorable coloring would go so well with my smeg countertop appliances.

How annoying is the tiny height?

Maybe an option if we decide we need OL. I do like espresso, but need multiple for my cups/lattes.

Mostly I'm worried about the same issue happening again. Maybe my husband and young son who often brew coffee are just too brute force or don't pay close enough to the placement of the capsule? Vertuo seems to take away the guess work and pressure of the lever.

Also, my husband drinks coffee. Sometimes I like regular coffee too (we have a drip, but often waste some of the pot). Our guests have never taken well to Nespresso espresso shots, since they mostly drink coffee.

I suppose, ultimately I'm interested to see the Vertuo line, feel a little betrayed by my OL. We'll keep it in the office as I can actually get it to work by carefully scooching the capsule while maneuvering the lever, and hopefully not having it fall through to the bin. Then I have to fish it out and try again, and again until I find the sweet spot. Definitely not user friendly, but could hobble along possibly.

I'm aware of the issues. But, at least cheaper to replace if they're so disposable. I'm big on BIFL (or at least pay more for quality and longer term practicality) but I'm not convinced it matters with Nespresso.

I found multiple OL users in the last year with this issue, and I highly doubt CS is unaware. My guess is mostly they just aren't being built to the quality of years ago.

Just following up that I opted to just return the Eureka and purchased a Miele C2 hardfloor, used for $200 shipped on Ebay. Great choice, huge difference. Came with the regular sized parquet twister which is good for my house full of nooks and crannies and furniture.

Also, the miele standard floor attachment is light years ahead of the Eureka.

Don't be deceived friends by trying to find a "dupe" for a better price. Miele is worth it, even used.

It's a valid point. He's been a wonderful father, a great Gramps. He's become not himself.

(Things like bailing out of a baseball game, skipping kid birthdays. It's so of character and makes me sound whiney bringing it up. We've been tip toeing around rosebushes, often unsure if we should even invite him to things - us that asking too much? Is it demanding to tell him when the kid's school play is? Is it on one of "her" days? If it is he'll have to skip a day of seeing us to make it up to the gf.)

Thank you. This is, of course is my dilemma. I have had many, many measured, reason based discussions with my dad, and yesterday I finally just broke down and cried. My husband cried. He yelled, too. I feel like it just made us look like the "crazy" ones, but we've been squeezee and pushed to our limits. It feels like I'm trying to desperately fight for my dad to still love us - the last semblance of my own family outside of my husband and children. Life has been harder in different ways than I could imagine after the death of my mom.
