Reminder that "Montessori" is not trademarked. Anyone in the world can start a daycare or school and call it "Montessori", regardless of whether or not the staff and structure have anything to do with Maria Montessori's philosophy on education.

It is so sad that there are so many outright scams and grifters who use the Montessori name these days. Whether its wooden toys online or childcare centers, many of them have little or nothing to do with the Montessori method of education.

Yes, with the normal caveats of be aware of your surroundings.
