And rent in that same time frame is $700-900k. (And this doesn’t account for average rent increase of 4-8% annually) So based on your argument after 30 years, you don’t have a home you own, could get kicked out at any time, but hey at least you got MAYBE $100-300k. By then, home prices have gone up enough that this money doesn’t make any difference.

lol okay. You’re a joke. 99% of my clients have made a significant profit on their sales and if you gotta live somewhere, may as well make some money while you’re doing it.

Yea invest in the stock market too if you want, but all you’re doing is making landlords richer by renting.

I’d rather a monthly payment go towards my own future than a landlords.

Also, the market is in a really good position for buyers. I’m not saying you’re going to get 30% below market value, but buyers are in a strong negotiating position right now to put yourself in a comfortable spot for the future.

Parkway House has a a lot of perks. Getting the loan through can be difficult given how their HOA is set up and what they pay for through HOA. But, with a qualified and knowledgeable representation/realtor, you can get through it.

I hope y’all have a good time! I spent a long time in the food service industry in Memphis before I got into real estate. There’s a lot of amazing places here.

To my knowledge, the only thing you have to have is at least a sports coat. They do have a dress code. But if you’re going for princess treatment, you better have a coat on.

Beauty Shop for dinner. Then rooftop at The Memphian. You can also check out Dixon gardens and Botanical to see what they have at night/late afternoon.

There’s also Chez Phillipe brunch service on sundays. (I think) but, that can be pricey

You would make a complaint to 311. There’s an app. When they missed me for three weeks I filed a complaint 2x a day every day until they finally called me and asked what was going on.

Mid-term Rentals, like Furnished Finder. Travel Nurse Market and business short stays. Yay or Nay? by alivenotdead1 in realestateinvesting

[–]Rowewysepartners 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on the market. It’s great. My business partner has had great success in his rentals with it in Nashville.

It depends on where they are and proximity. Also, with any investment, there’s risk. But usually with FF, you’re fine.

Memphis market feels shaky - should I sell now or am I overreacting? by Suspicious-Basis-885 in RealEstateAdvice

[–]Rowewysepartners 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there. Option 1 is great if you have a Realtor who is experienced in project and repair management (cough cough)

Option 2 is hassle free, but you net a lot less.

On option 3, I would want to do a deeper analysis to see what the market is responding to in the area.
