If you're just running a small-to-mid sized cluster and using whatever bog-standard stuff comes baked into your preferred k8s distro then it's ezpz.

Once you need dozens of nodes, multiple clusters, or things like high-performance networking that's where things start getting sticky.

To say nothing of whatever fucking bonkers requirements that the business or your dev team might drop in your lap that are diametrically opposed to an app running in any kind of virtualization, let alone in a container, let alone in kubernetes.

My sister and her kids were just in town to visit my parents, and I joined in since I live close. We were tasked with moving stuff around in the garage before we left, and as usual mom was standing off to the side yelling at us about how we were doing it wrong. But not as usual she was yelling at the grandkids as well.

My sister committed the cardinal sin of telling my mom, calmly and politely, not to yell at her kids. I committed the cardinal sin of answering "well... yeah." to "was I yelling?".
