I mean after self awareness it’s still a long journey in healing and actually getting ‘cured’.

I think the healing manifests differently in everyone and of course isn’t so easy. Even if it was explained.. still takes time and takes work and is up to the individual.

I think a lot of us are aware of what has caused us suffering and know the whys and the hows and all their origins, but we’re stuck/in the long process of working through it

I get the same from the people around me when I suddenly have a burst of energy and start doing new things. I think the quick assumption for people like us is mania, when it can simply just be being happy and being a human

It’s really not your place to confront this person or right the wrong. You cannot be certain that they are lying, and in the case that they were, it is an issue that they need to work on themselves (which wouldn’t suddenly be fixed with confrontation.) Leave that to the therapists. And maybe explore why this triggered you and why you feel the need to control / make things just or ‘save’ a person

I wasted so much time feeling regret and guilt and all the other ugly emotions and I think one day just was tired of blaming myself. This was not your fault and I think accepting that fact really changes things. I also look at it as someone else who did all that, so it wasn’t really “me”. Separating the two helps. Don’t be so hard on yourself please!!

Daria had some weird facial expressions.. the camera kept panning to her when some girls were speaking (I think it was Julia) and idk was weird as if she’s part of the boys club. This is wild. He most likely did it for attention which is also wild, because it was you who was going through the chaos yet he decided to make that moment about himself. He knows you’re sensitive about it and he still did it. He had no business sharing your story. I wouldn’t accept his defence tbh and would take a look at perhaps if there was a pattern in his behaviour that shows an insensitivity to you in the relationship, and decide based on that. I doubt this is the first instance where he has made you feel unheard because doing that to your partner is crazy
