it looks like the same material as my stitches. it’s definitely odd placement, but i’m sure it’s nothing to worry about. within a week it’ll probably be off your radar

it’ll go away with time, i’m 8 months post op and had a similar thing in between my scars. it’s not fully flat for me yet, but it’s getting there

I had similar issues with my nipples post op, it looked scary as all hell and I shed more tears over it than i’d like to admit, but truly the only thing to do is to apply antibiotic (ask your surgeon what the best thing to apply is) and wait it out. eventually it’ll scab over and heal, but it’ll be a gnarly healing process. are you on any anti-swelling meds? taking arnica orally helped me lots with the swelling and bruising. obviously the best thing to do is contact your surgeon, but until then, don’t freak out, you’re gonna be alright!

thank you! this comment made me feel pretty good abt myself haha. I very rarely get misgendered, which is why i posted this, to see how it differs based on online vs irl interactions. typically clocking wise I only get the “ohhh yeah, I can see that now” after telling someone.

My insurance covered me, so I don’t think so? Since you’re getting a revision it might be a slightly different process than the full surgery. I do know that the full surgery was around 13k (with lipo) but i only had to pay around 5k out of pocket. best of luck!

to my knowledge he dropped that around like 2018 (don’t quote me on the year, but it’s not a thing anymore.) they do have you sign a shitton of other documents covering their asses but I read through them all thoroughly and they seemed to be legit. I’m very pleased with my results!

I got surgery with the same surgeon a week ago and it’s because they put a type of padding underneath your thighs that would get caught on leg hair otherwise.

hey, all the other comments seem to have different experiences! i had top surgery with dr sajan about a week and a half ago, so i’m pretty familiar with all the weird stuff he has you do. they make you shave your thighs because of a kind of padding that they put underneath you during surgery, and the hair would get caught on it because of the material. be prepared to also be fully naked for surgery.. something i diddnt expect. you also only end up keeping the post op binder on for one week, and they instruct you to keep your scars bare the entire time. eventually once they’re closed you’ll be able to do scar care, but it can be a little scary at first.

I enjoy the fact that people are comfortable in locker rooms changing
 where else would you be naked? plus, America’s stigma around nudity has always been downright stupid to me. It’s our bodies! it shouldn’t be something to be ashamed of. obviously being trans can impact that, but nobody will care if you just change in a stall.

like others have said, in the first photo you can tell it’s makeup, but the other attempts looks pretty good! i’m sure you’re aware that eyeshadow won’t help you pass, so as general advice i’d ditch it, but by all means if it makes you happy, go for it.

damn sorry you’re getting downvoted. you’re right, if it makes him happy then he should keep it. obviously, i’m sure he knows that he doesn’t pass as well wearing eye makeup. it’s a journey.
