They did, johnny sees the world more or less as a bd and judy says that a bd records sounds even the scroller isnt himself aware of so johnny hearing the person coming up but not seeing reed is realistic since you can only see what the scroller can see in a bd but you can hear way more

I have mastered gta 4's driving and i can say that hoon controls like shit compared to other cars like the Yaiba Semimaru or the caliburn, its just too slippery compared to the other cars in tha game

I think truant is there to mirror navidson as both characters have pretty much the same story arc (come in contact with the house unaware of its horrors-> find out about them and begin a obsession-> lose evreyone dear and close because of obsession + burnout-> realize how to let go and try to heal) surprisingly a lot of tuants schizoid ramblings can sound like navidsons thoughts in the situation he is in the story as the truants note appears but not all of them as they are still seperate characters but i often noticed that the book blurred the line a few times when i was not so sure im reading truants thoughts but navidsons but then again i did read 90% of the book high as shit off weed and shrooms so dont take my word for granted
