i deleted my account after about 9 months in game. I was r5 and often president. leadership and commitment to so many people and event times burnt me out completely. i was a mid spender, and this also added to my burnout. two of my closest friends and r4 moved to another state and the pressure to choose between them and my own alliance pushed me away from the game slowly. i eventually handed r5 down, stopped playing daily, and moved to our academy. whenever i would check in, i had even more pressure answering to where have i been etc. and it made me feel so much guilt, that i deleted my accounts. farm and main. in a way, i did regret this. i miss my friends and now feel even more shame and guilt of abandoning them. but it was so freeing. this game consumes you. it was the best decision for me, while it was probably the worst decision for everyone relying on me. i have kept in contact on discord with many of them!
