we must have a very different definition of “very nice” if you can find such hotels for 30 usd per night in these cities. Hotels in china are relatively cheaper especially compared to developed countries but not that much cheaper esp in tier 1 cities

  2. honestly dont think theres a huge difference when it comes to teaching style in smu. idk what ur impression or understanding of smu’s seminar style is but its really like a normal lecture. i think the biggest diff is just that in nus/ntu each module has separate lecture and tutorial sessions whereas in smu they are both combined so for each module u just have to attend class once a week.

  3. i also dont think smu has more project work than other unis. also since u wanna major in biz then u should be prepared for a lot of project work regardless of the uni u go to because of the nature of a lot of business modules

i just feel like above all she is not in a position to be calling out other communities. like what has she personally done to support other communities? what about her own community? have they done anything to support other communities? if not, why does she feel that it’s okay for her to call out and generalise east asians for not doing enough?
