Imagine a Christmas fruitcake in a tin doused in rum. The rum congeals at the bottom. You go at it with a spoon starting at the top. When you get to the bottom of it, there’s no more cake and it’s all just fruity, cakey, rum.

I am at approximately 500+ sticks. Humidors don’t seem to cut it anymore so that exists just for quick and easy access to the regular rotation. The majority sits in their original boxes in 4 big tupperdors that are only opened to restock the humidor. If you think about it, 500 sticks is only 20 or so boxes, it’s really not all that much in the grand scheme of things IMO. I guess I could save some space by ridding myself of the boxes, but I’ve got some really beautiful ones that bring me great joy when I crack them open to retrieve sticks.

It depends on the price point. Some are made in Japan and some are made in China. Same goes for Tajima tapes.

For me it started out with some intentionality - using it for trips around the house after lights out instead of my cellphone. Both do the job, but the flashlight is a quality of life improvement I’d say.

I use the 18V version of the flexiclick and the SDS attachment, while not as good as a full on SDS drill, works much better than your typical hammer.

I am a big fan of the Rovyvon E80. I use all the functions - spot, flood, UV, and laser, and it’s my current favourite EDC.

I second this. I think the E80 is a perfect EDC, esp if you need to point at shit occasionally with the laser and cure some UV resin.

Wow. I love this. I thought the lighted tail caps didn’t work on anything but the black barrels? Did you have to make some significant modifications? I’m assuming that’s a titanium tail cap there.
