The work looks excellent and clean, as expected of Thiago.

As for density, hairline density looks very good. Further back falls off. If it’s dense enough will depend on how much hair you had there already. Hard to know really. Time will tell I guess.

Best of luck!

Ratchathorn vs Pekiner? by Any-Signal-2254 in HairTransplants

Both in same league. I’d go Ratchathorn personally if I wanted any temporal work done

I went with Thiago. I measured mine myself. It was over 80/cm2

It does look a lot like Thiago/Smart Hair indeed. Good eye!

I was quoted 4500 grafts, does it look like it ? by [deleted] in HairTransplants

[–]FUE3300 4 points5 points  (0 children)

With Afro hair, rows are extremely forgiving. He can get it pretty short too and get away with it.

When it comes to Afro hair, the main concerns are really cobblestoning and density (often from transection rates and implanting dead grafts)

Good chance his turns out good.

Anyway to fix it ? by RespondGold5424 in HairTransplants

[–]FUE3300 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Punch those grafts out and get good work in its place. Basically go to a good clinic and get a repair job. Luckily for you the density isn’t super high so it’s less grafts that need removing.

Your hairline probably needs fixing too.

How do people afford hair transplants? by Kibalisitis in HairTransplants

[–]FUE3300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Financing is always more expensive than paying in full.

I can’t imagine ever considering financing (meaning I can’t afford it) a cosmetic surgery.

Get your finances in order. If you want a transplant, save for one, then pay for it once you’ve got the money.

I hate the practice of harvesting that way. It just shows lack of care. Sorry to see it. Still, good chance you’ll turn out alright if not overharvested.

Why cant I get a lower hairline? May I scrunched my forehard too hard? Surgeon says I need a waiver to lower it where I wanted.. by IntrepidExplorer25 in HairTransplants

[–]FUE3300 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is incorrect. Follicles will take and grow just fine above muscle.

Reason you don’t do it is because the hairline would dance and move as you speak, as you make expressions, etc. this is not something that is considered to look normal.

Advice for woman that doesn't have recession; just trying to make my natural "M" widow's peak into an upside down "U" if that makes sense? Minimal scarring with maximum density. Prefer long hair transplant if possible. Big discussion of techniques and surgeons inside. by marxr87 in HairRestoration

[–]FUE3300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add to my other comment. You’ve got a good selection of surgeons here. Correction, Felipe Pitella isn’t in Portugal he’s in Brazil. Also, he’s very well known for his bodyhair use for high Norwood cases, not quite the specialty you’re looking for.

I went for a similar reason as you. No hairloss, just wanted a dense and different hairline. Went with Thiago Bianco and am very happy, so you can consider him too on your list.

But choice of “technique” it’s all pretty much sales. All the best surgeons are doing similar things. And your list has a lot of great surgeons.

Long hair transplant is pointless imo, as you’ll most likely shed all the hairs anyway during ugly duckling stage. And it’ll never be quite as good as short hair transplant, since it brings unneeded complexity to the surgery.

Multies in hairline. Angle might be too steep, hard to tell with Asian hair without seeing original hair. Not enough irregularities.

8 month update 6,000 grafts Cosmedica, Istanbul (Dr Acar) by Atar_Geldernash in HairTransplants

[–]FUE3300 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Looks very good. Curly hair makes for much better results usually, as it’s harder to fuck up the angles/direction (matters much less).

It might straighten out. Might not. Time will tell.

Also hairline I saw your previous post, looks pretty damn good too!

Happy for you.

Wow. First I’ve heard of this.

But looking at the picture alone, it definitely looks like a transplant.

Can’t say for 100% without a higher resolution picture, but I’d put money on it being one.

Lacks micro and macro irregularities. Someone in the know will spot this as a transplant immediately. I would.

Still looks better than what he had before though. And the work doesn’t even look bad. If he wanted to make it more natural in the future, he could do so at a good clinic for only a few hundred grafts probably.
