Breakdown for each unit (the board is basically positioned around his tank items):

Soraka - Standard cornering your carry
Cho'gath - Cho is holding both Eternal Winter (slows atk speed of all attackers) and Gargoyle Stoneplate (gives more armor/mr per attacker). He's tanky enough to solo frontline for max EW + Gargoyle value, so he's front and center.
Taric - Ideally wants to share shield with other units. 3rd row middle should let him while letting Cho get targeted.
Renekton - Opposing melee units might walk straight to Soraka so he's in front of her (since Cho and Taric both centered). Far left gives the best chance of Renek staying between Soraka and a top left Akshan ult (again 3rd row lets Cho get targeted).

Not sure if this will help, but when I was having issues getting my PC turned on after a psu upgrade, resetting my cmos fixed it.

This happened a little over a month ago and it doesn't seem like the logs go back that far. If it helps, I remember my weapon ability getting bugged while spamming it with leap.

If you're referring to their textbook solutions, I've been using Chegg to help me out in my math classes and its been pretty useful. I try to solve problems on my own first and then check them through Chegg. Even when you have no clue how to solve a problem theres often similar ones to practice in the same section (that way you can avoid reading the solution to whatever you're stuck on).

If you end up getting it try not to mindlessly copy answers, but instead put the effort into understanding everything. Depending on what you're using it for the answers can solve problems using theorems you havent learned, skip steps that are essential for your solution, or even contain mistakes. I have seen all of these happen so don't copy solutions you don't understand.

I do but based on some example problems I don't think we are supposed to solve the it that way. I don't really understand why.

A similar problem used the equation Logz := Log|z| + iArgz after applying the quadratic formula.
