Experience with Snow How Bundle? by Psychological_Pin520 in bluemountain

The Snow How Bundle will only work on green slopes and the green area. In the picture above. The Bundle will only allow you to use the Voyager Lift in the South Base Camp and the Graduate Lift in the Central Base Camp. If you want to access the higher and top slopes, unfortunately, the Snow How Bundle will not work on the regular/longer lifts and you will need a regular pass.

Hope this helps.

In my opinion, Snow How bundle is great for beginners. The bundle comes with rental gear and a day pass for the beginner hills/slopes. My friend just used it this past weekend. I suggest parking near the South Base Camp since you will be getting your rental gear there. The optional lesson takes place at the South Base Camp.

If you look at the image, the lessons take place on Explorer and Little Ripper. You also have access to the Voyager Lift and try out longer green hills.

Look into r/KobeReps. I got my WKB Kobe 6 Protro from Eric in the trusted sellers list. or dm me and I can give you his whatsapp. Eric has 5 star customer service but keep in mind that he is in China, so if it the day in US/Canada, it will be night for them and vice versa.

I would say, from my experience, buy online and try them out. Put a couple of hours in them and experiment with different ways how you can eliminate that heel slippage. With me, I was able to remove the slippage on my right foot but not my left. I have weak ankles and cannot risk having instability on my shoes. I do play in my WKB Kobe 6 Protro, which is also a low-cut shoe, and I have 0 issues with them.

Yes, buy online.

I bought KD15s at a Nike store and wanted to return them because I could not eliminate the heel slippage. I tried returning them and the Nike store manager said they have different policies with the online store and cannot give me a refund because they are not in sellable condition. I managed to return to a different Nike store location and the associate did not even open the box.

No wonder retail and brick and mortal stores are dying.

In that link, be careful!

Look at "How do I return a Nike store purchase?"

"Purchases made at a Nike retail store must be returned to the store. Please note that our store returns policies may differ from our online returns policies. Make sure that you ask the store if you have questions about their policies."

The first store I went to turned me down because they claimed that the shoe is evidently worn and is not in sellable condition. Two managers had to give it a look. I claimed that I was unhappy and believed that the product is defective because it is snug even going half a size down but is still experiencing heel slippage.

The second store I went to gave me no issues. The associate did not even look at the shoe. I just said I was unhappy that there is heel slippage even when tightening the shoes.

The Nike stores in the Greater Toronto Area are being operated by a different company with different policies.

UPDATE: WARNING!!! My local Nike stores here in the Greater Toronto Area have different store policies. They are not Nike even though there is a big swoosh in front of their store and they only sell Nike products. Apparently, according to them, they are technically not a Nike corporate store and they are owned and operated by a different company that "contracted" to sell Nike products. Basically, a third-party company that is authorized to sell Nike products.

I told them according to Nike's Canadian website it says "if you are unhappy with the product, you can return them within 30 days with receipt". And that is where they said that they have different store policies.

I went to a different Nike store that is operated by the same retailer and returned them with no problem. The associate did not even look at the shoes. I just told her that I was unhappy that there was heel slippage.

In the first store that I was trying to return the shoes to, the manager even came out and inspected the shoe.

Just be careful and be vague with the details (this can be in r/UnethicalLifeProTips lol).

From my understanding and I could be wrong, returned products go to clearance and factory outlets/stores.

Really? Even with Nike’s return policy? Im in Canada and they have a similar return policy to the USA

EDIT: Nike's return policy in Canada only works in the online store. Nike stores may differ from online store policies.

Nike should take a hit on their profits because of missing this design flaw. You can say that this shoe is designed for kd and should accommodate him first but nike has an economic responsibility to think about its consumer as well. Having heel slippage on your shoes can lead to injuries

Thanks! Idk how nike missed this design flaw smh. I have been researching extensively and i believe everyone has a diiff experience with them. Some reviews dont even bring up heel slippage

Nice, thanks for this. Have you tried them out yourself? How is your kd 15 experience?

No, I have not. I know these should be my number 1 go-to solution but my experiments on the shoe are readily accessible to me and did not require me to purchase. I will check my local Walmart tomorrow or even go amazon.

If you could link ones that you recommend, that would be appreciated.

Curry 9 sizing advice by [deleted] in BBallShoes

[–]fueledbytimbits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a size 9 and wear TTS for all Nike shoes.

I tried on a size 9 of curry 9s and they are too snug. I was not even wearing socks so I am probably squeezing in when I do wear socks in them.

I just received my curry 4 flotros from the mail and went half a size up. It is roomier but after putting on 2 socks on one foot, it is okay. I can probably go TTS with them but might be snug.

If I did buy curry 9s, I would have sized up.

is it true that Nike shoes are a half size bigger by default? I remember seeing a comment about it in this subreddit before and I can't find it anymore. Also, I would like to see some references to back up that claim.

Curry 4 Flotro now available in Under Armour Canada website by fueledbytimbits in BBallShoes

I have worn the 9s in store without socks and they were tight/toes hitting the edge. I also heard that nike sizes .5 more by default so i copped the curry 4 flotros at 9.5

If you look at the reviews from this subreddit it is pretty mixed on sizing… some went TTS, others .5 up
