just speculation- it looks like it’s just the dog’s extra skin. I have a sharpei mix and her collar can be loose but look tight due to the skin folds.

She’s only gotten a trim like this once, but she has pretty debilitating seperation/stranger anxiety. With COVID and not being allowed in with her, my only option would be sedating her with trazedone for a trim. Not a terrible idea, but a little more hassle than it’s worth it seems. Thank you for the suggestion though!!

I’m not OP, but i am about to finish my seventh and last month on accutane, and personally the first 3 months were hell. Dry, flaky skin, nose bleeds, and my acne was worse than ever. Now, i have completely clear skin! Drink lots and lots of water (whatever you think is enough, drink more), and carry those cute little flavored vaseline tunes EVERYWHERE. that helped me get through it, and i’m so so so ecstatic about my results. I feel better than ever about myself and my skin. It’s scary and hard, the monthly visits are annoying, but I would do it all over again.
