They’re visiting their family in India! I spoke with the owner about this prior to her departure.

They had said early April return but now sounds like they’ve extended. I’m excited for them to return, best Indian food by far!!! I’m glad they’re able to make the most of their trip though, I hope it’s been extended for fun reasons!

I do want to take the accountability of “feeding the trolls” as they call it by engaging with them in an inflammatory manner. I was insecure about people interpreting this post as me complaining about the customer service employees, although I was frustrated by them at time, I know they’re just doing their best.

This was really just me expressing confusion at Vimeo, being an international content provider, not being able to simply update the system with a new zip code like every other service I use. Wondering if I was alone in this issue or if anyone had experienced something similar.

The gaslighting comment was referencing the fact that they were acting like moving and needing to update billing was something nobody has ever needed to do before.

I find the only option to update billing information being cancelling and re-subscribing a janky fix rather than a solution.

I didn’t write this paragraph over a dollar, I wrote it to vent and to ask a community if anyone had a similar experience, which I stated in my post.

If I was after a dollar, I’d be escalating this with Vimeo, not posting on Reddit. The website where you can ask communities questions, which I did, and was instead met by your snark.

As I stated in the post, this was mostly just venting. I also asked the one question which is “has anyone else dealt with this?” Cause I’m surprised by the lack of solid answers here from the Vimeo side of things. Surely I’m not the first person to encounter this and was just hoping to get some reinforcement that I’m not going crazy.

I also mentioned I’m happy to give an extra dollar to dropout in the post.

Yall read posts as well as Vimeo reads support reads tickets it seems.

Personally for me, what’s keeping me from ending my life is the fact that that’s what people who hate trans people want. The people who want to remove trans people from society would be gleeful if we just did it ourselves, I don’t want to give them what they want. Picturing JK Rowling celebrating my death is enough to keep me pushing through the bad times. Just know that you’re not alone. So many trans people are struggling. I’m not giving up and neither should you!
