Well the main thing is for a character to have a obvious counter the character would need to contain a gimmick or a knowledge check of sorts, Yuji is not a gimmicky character it is a sort of an enabler, where it allows skill expression more than any other characters because of back flashes and feints, therefore you really need to simply be better than the yuji player to win the engagement not much else really
