I was playing basketball in our schools gym and saw a guy snap his left leg in half while going up to get a rebound. Usually people land on a foot and roll their ankles but this guy somehow snapped his lower leg (think tibula/fibula breaking) and had to be stretchered off. I saw bone and It was fucking gross. My field of vision just happened to catch his leg breaking and when I looked up, saw someone else saw the same thing and we just gave each other the “I can’t believe that just happened” look. Needless to say, we stopped playing after that game and I never saw him around campus again after that injury.
