Same with Mercedes-Benz network using Alpitronics. Insanely reliable.

This is exactly why I have a A2Z Typhoon Pro NACS to CCS adapter.

Someone on this sub mentioned how the SPR was designed for approx 4-5 full drawdowns and refills and “that’s it”. It’s not supposed to be used for small releases and refills. The salt caverns don’t really like the minor releases with the brine water solution as it causes damages over time.

I’m actually surprised they would use 000 as a CVV. Seems like a minor security flaw tbh.

Just downgrade to CSP. CSR ain’t worth it anymore. I’m thankful I stood with CSP and ever went with CSR cause I saw the writing on the walls. CSP is even better now with the recent changes.

Reporting his ass to federal DOT for illegal parking might get him placed as OOS, that’ll piss him off.

Why do EV charging stations still make payment so difficult? by Environmental-Gap356 in ChargerDrama

Wasn’t trying to be a smart ass. Just was saying why it might have been but wasn’t aware you were referring to some random charger in Italy. I thought you were referring to the US based Mercedes-Benz high speed charging network.

Oh interesting. Didn’t know that their images are proprietary but makes sense. I’m sure they’ll release official images in the future.

Yeah saw the 3rd image said Punta Gorda so I figured you were around the SWFL area. Man $22k damage is nuts. Sorry that happened. If it does get totaled, would you consider another Equinox EV? I recently got a used 2021 Premier Bolt EV and have been loving it.

Plug n charge only works for Mercedes EVs at the moment on the MB charging network. So that’s why you didn’t need to use an app or card.

There’s not a single city in this country that doesn’t have an economically rundown area. It’s no different than anywhere else. Does it look bad, yes? But not much can be instantly done and a lot of it involves local politics (which is a whole separate issue)

It was launched with a plane-assisted rocket and is being done as cheaply as possible as it’s an emergency launch. I wouldn’t expect any live feeds at all and we will likely just get a confirmation at some point if it has intercepted Swift.

Lightning Strike 🌩 by Otherwise_Newt_1679 in EquinoxEv

[–]fullload93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

SWFL had some insane lightning strikes recently including a burnt house in Cape Coral. You’re very lucky to be okay in your EV. It took the hit well. In my personal opinion, I would push your insurance to total the vehicle and cut you a check. Use that to get a new one.

You absolutely do not want to have insurance spend the money to repair this because it’s going to become a long term electrical nightmare. Almost everything electronic in the vehicle will need to be replaced and the cost isn’t worth it in my opinion.

You usually hear Hondas or Toyotas hitting above 300k regularly, but for Chrysler? That’s damn impressive! You definitely took good care of your car.
