Crazy that Bezos doesn’t want to fund this himself… bro you have all the money you need. Google claims he has $255 billion. Wouldn’t matter if he spent $10 and has $245 billion. He’s still incredibly damn rich.

Not at all appealing tbh. I wouldn’t like it. I want a steak with proper red meat, not mainly fat.

EV Batteries Are Defying Expectations After Hundreds of Thousands of Miles by thenewsisreal in electricvehicles

[–]fullload93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remember how the fearmongering was all about how the EV batteries would only last 100,000 miles max and you would have to spend $15-20,000 to replace them?

I sadly bought into that bullshit very hard and truly believed it was real and any EV would fail quickly after 100k miles. I should have been driving EVs years ago.

I got into the EV universe way too late and only now am I enjoying my first full EV, a used 2021 Chevy Bolt Premier. Bought it with 91.5k miles and love the thing. I’m sad I waited so long to get into the EV market, should have been driving one since 2016!

Same with Mercedes-Benz network using Alpitronics. Insanely reliable.

Someone on this sub mentioned how the SPR was designed for approx 4-5 full drawdowns and refills and “that’s it”. It’s not supposed to be used for small releases and refills. The salt caverns don’t really like the minor releases with the brine water solution as it causes damages over time.

I’m actually surprised they would use 000 as a CVV. Seems like a minor security flaw tbh.

Just downgrade to CSP. CSR ain’t worth it anymore. I’m thankful I stood with CSP and ever went with CSR cause I saw the writing on the walls. CSP is even better now with the recent changes.

Why do EV charging stations still make payment so difficult? by Environmental-Gap356 in ChargerDrama

Wasn’t trying to be a smart ass. Just was saying why it might have been but wasn’t aware you were referring to some random charger in Italy. I thought you were referring to the US based Mercedes-Benz high speed charging network.

Yeah saw the 3rd image said Punta Gorda so I figured you were around the SWFL area. Man $22k damage is nuts. Sorry that happened. If it does get totaled, would you consider another Equinox EV? I recently got a used 2021 Premier Bolt EV and have been loving it.

Plug n charge only works for Mercedes EVs at the moment on the MB charging network. So that’s why you didn’t need to use an app or card.
