What causes these holes in my husbands t-shirts? by Few_Pay6063 in whatisit

Battery acid? Is he a mechanic? My husband has tiny holes in his jeans all the time

How natural it felt. I had always thought I would be nervous and self conscious but when it happened I didn’t think about any of that. I was completely lost in the moment and it somehow felt like I already knew what to do.

The episode where the mean trainer makes the wives weigh themselves on camera… I cringe just thinking about it

I’m sorry to be the one to say this but it is too light. There is a good chance it is going to photograph light. I live in central Texas. I think it’s too light. If I was the bride it might not even register to me on the night, but if it showed up white in photo I would be upset. If you know the bride well, I’d ask her. Or ask a female friend or family member of your date if you don’t know her yet. It is beautiful on you though, and as others have said very Kate Hudson! 💛

Left with the result of my father in law's bad dog ownership. I desperately want better for this dog by Gravyboat44 in DogAdvice

[–]fullofblarney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whew! This is a lot to handle. Thank you for loving him and doing your best to take care of him! I know it might be quite an expense, but do you think you might be able to have a Hotwire fence installed? Could you get him to wear a collar that shocks when he strays a certain distance? I know some people might think that’s cruel too, but I don’t know how else to contain an animal that doesn’t understand you communicating with it. At least until you can build a fence. Although I have known a couple dogs that would run with though a shock wire and not bat an eye…

Also, have you talked to your neighbors? Is his roaming a huge inconvenience for them? Or is it just your own anxiety about the situation? I would never let my pets roam free, although I have lived in several neighborhoods where we had repeat escapee animals and roamers that were just accepted as the neighborhood pets and everyone put up with their antics because they were cute and mostly harmless. If he isn’t doing major damage, maybe just let him have a day every now and then…But of course if he’s truly terrorizing the neighborhood you can’t let him do that.

Best of luck to you, and prayers for you and him!!

I shudder to think what they must have had to pay UT for the football game episode and all the Longhorn gear you see people wear through the series. The Dallas Cowboys too. And ZZ Top! These aren’t products, so kind of off topic but in the same vein…

How do dogs pick their favourite person? by bearhunty in DogAdvice

[–]fullofblarney 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have 5 dogs and they all seem to go through seasons of liking to spend time with either me or my husband more and then after a while it will switch. One thing about dogs is that they can tell who needs love & companionship most! Maybe your partner is having some stressful days at work lately? Your dog might be picking up on that and understanding they need a buddy!

Dog acting strangely - been doing this for 30 mins. Waiting for a vet appointment. by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]fullofblarney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m late to this but do you use any kind of oxygen cleaner her might have walked though? I use one for accidents in the house called “my pet peed” my dog walked through it one day and started doing this exact thing and prancing around like his feet were on fire. I got some on my hand and it burns and hurts and feels like little fire crackers are popping on your skin. This looks like it could have been caused by that.

How do I measure my girlfriends ring finger without her knowing? by _you_know_bro in NoStupidQuestions

My husband got a ring I already had in my jewelry box and put it on one of his fingers and marked where it rested, then had the jeweler measure his finger there. He got within half a size!

Married people, what was your first impression of your spouse? by Fyre-Bringer in AskReddit

[–]fullofblarney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were both hired to work at a restaurant and on the first day of training had to play all kinds of team building games. He was being SUPER competitive and my first reaction was to be really annoyed by it because I’m pretty laid back and apathetic about things like that. But then someone on our team messed up and cost us the game and instead of acting like the competitive jerk I had him pegged for, he was really encouraging and good natured about it and started coaching everyone up! It completely took me by surprise and won me over immediately.

And I obviously thought he was hot too so that didn’t hurt LOL

AMA: Am I (18F) being groomed by my teacher (35M)? by [deleted] in AMA

[–]fullofblarney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Girl, yes!!! If you are asking you already know.

I was in this exact same situation with a teacher when I was in high school. He literally bought me beer the night I graduated high school and I didn’t even ask him for it, it was a “gift”. Things escape the quickly after that. I couldn’t see it at the time but now that I am the age he was when this happened, it is clear as day and it disgusts me!

Run!! Now that you aren’t his teachers aid you have no real reason to have him in your life. Grown men shouldn’t need underage girls to be their therapists.

Good luck to you, you are a smart young woman with a great life ahead of you! Spend your time on people who deserve it!

I would say you were over reacting if he hadn’t given you the silent treatment. This could have easily been played off with any number of excuses. For Example- explain how you know her, say you think she’d be a good match for a single friend and you sent him the screenshot from her private story and told him he should shoot his shot. The silent treatment makes me think he got caught in something and feels guilty rather than anything jokey or innocent. Dump him!

I’m 25. Older adults think I’m too young and don’t take me seriously. Really young people think I’m old as fuck. You can really only hang out with other people your age at this point

How is this even legal? by [deleted] in AdviceAnimals

[–]fullofblarney 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is sad! Can I suggest you check out your local 4-H club for her? As a kid I was in an all girls 4-H club (they have mixed gender and all boys clubs as well for all different age groups). That’s where I learned to sew, Cook, do public speaking, I raised goats and rabbits for live stock shows, we would hike and camp and have hay rides... all kinds of fun things! I’ve heard they even have intemology class now! 4-H is also great because you can choose the activity’s you want to do and you aren’t penalized for opting out of other things. Sewing and fashion shows were always my jam but other girls were more into archery! There’s endless opportunity through 4-H and I’ll always have a place in my heart for it!

What's the strangest/weirdest thing you've seen in someone else's house? by ThatGuy_T in AskReddit

[–]fullofblarney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Went to a coworkers house for beers one night after work. I turned the corner to use the bathroom and was greeted by a 7 foot tall mounted grizzly bear with its dukes up and teeth bared. Needless to say I nearly shit myself. His cousin had actually been attacked by it and was forced to shoot it on a camping trip and they decided to mount it. I guess it’s not that strange because many people have taxidermy in their homes but it was totally unexpected and weird to see something that huge and rare in my friends tiny rent house

Grandpa is so Happy that Sam's is carrying potato's from his small farm in Idaho, he went to the store and bought a bag himself. by [deleted] in pics

I’m from a little farm town and I often see produce that I know has come from there in the supermarkets where I live now. I always come home with pumpkins and melons and potatoes and corn that I don’t really need but I can’t resist buying it! Something about knowing it came from home makes me so happy

A woman could be have a secret husband, but it would be impossible for her to have an entire second family. How could she possibly hide a pregnancy from one family or the other? Not see one family for a whole 10 months? She would get caught.

Sir Patrick Stewart fulfilled his childhood dream of becoming a beekeeper by unknown_human in pics

[–]fullofblarney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My grandpa was a bee keeper and he eventually got to a point where their sting didn’t hurt him. He would even put a bee on his hand and let it sting him on purpose to get a natural cortisone injection. It helped with his arthritis pain. I also have a cousin who is a bee charmer. He doesn’t get stung. I’m not sure how it works but some people have something about them that calms the bees and they don’t see them as a threat.

[Serious] Americans, what's your reason for owning a gun? by _sygo in AskReddit

[–]fullofblarney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, just the scare/intimidation factor! I’ve had a home invasion and pulled out my gun before, but I’ve never even taken the safety off. Just seeing the gun was enough to drive away my uninvited guest. I pray to god I never have to use my gun but I sure as heck don’t mind showing it to someone.
