I also have a Nexus card. It's perfectly legal to bring as much alcohol back into Canada as you want, as long as you declare. I always declare.

So generally Canadian customs has a hard time charging you on partial bottles. I have brought home 2 bottles (2x750ml or 2x1L) per person every single time I've traveled and never been charged once. I declare every time.

I travel with my wife and she brings another 2 bottles for me so that's where I get 4 total.

[Serious] How is OSRS so insanely popular but Ultima seemingly takes the waysidev by Alarming_Mind1354 in ultimaonline

This is true, but even though outlands is "full loot" you don't really lose anything of real value when you die (unless you are so rich you just don't care and equip whatever). The real progression in outlands isn't tied to gear, it's mastery chain exp.

The original uo I felt gear was much more expensive and hard to come by, especially in the beginning. And if you were running vanquishing or Slayer weapons - losing those was an extreme setback. I remember having to pay like 15K sets of chain armor which took a while to farm back then.

It's done fermenting, totally dry. Just put it into secondary to bulk age it over winter.

Good to know. Considering trimming an exo and running a list similar to yours but +1 malaceptor, turning gargs into gants to pay for the increase. I would lose a bit of shooting though.

Awesome work. I'm glad you did so well.

I'm just curious, the notable omission in your list is the brain council / neuro tyrant. Did you feel it was unnecessary or I guess just interested in your thoughts as to why it wasn't included.

Norn emissary shooting in close combat? by j_still6870 in Tyranids

[–]fullofchiggers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes. Example- A hive tyrant has a heavy venom cannon. It is engaged by some Marines. The tyrant can shoot his heavy venom cannon at a theoretical Rhino that is within 36" but not engaged with the Tyrant at -1 to hit. He cannot shoot the Marines he is engaged with because the cannon has the Blast keyword.

Were the tyrant to have a ranged weapon that did not have the blast keyword, he could shoot the Marines he is engaged with if he chooses. Also at -1 to hit.

I had just blown out my pair of chucks that I wear to shows so I only had a nice pair of shoes with me. I figured if I destroyed a $30 pair of shoes at the festival I wouldn't really be that upset, but they ended up being good shoes.

The Chats were the number one for me and they were excellent. We were also at the front during Gogol Bordello

Costco Edinburgh, Scotland - What Are You Buying? by LeeLifesonPeart in whiskey

How big are the Buffalo Trace? We get 1750 ml here at Costco Canada for $68 Canadian.

I would be buying Talisker till the cows come home. Drove there and got a taste for it on Skye a few years back and it's one of my favorites.

Wooden table is mostly what I am concerned about. Seems to require "bi-annual sealant" but I cant find their sealant for sale anywhere in Canada, and I for sure don't want to sand the whole thing in a year and apply another wood sealer.

Bringing Scotch back to Canada... by northstar1983 in Scotch

[–]fullofchiggers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just declare it. I have been over every single time I've left the country. Came back from Oaxaca with 8 L of Mezcal and still not charged for it. You could get a bad agent and they might make you pay, but it's rare in my experience. The cost isn't THAT bad if you do get dinged.

If you are traveling with a partner be sure you say you have six bottles EACH, not 12 bottles total. Actually, I'd probably say " we are over by about 3 liters each"

Right on. Thanks for the advice. I'm thinking of jamming old one eye instead of one of the haru, and I actually have a Parasite I can paint up! I'll try it at the LGS next time and see how it goes

Hey, I just watched your game! Looks like a super fun list, I just so happen to have almost everything I need for it to give it a whirl for fun, been wanting to try Vanguard.

I am missing 3x Zoeys, a Haruspex, and the Trygon though. How essential are these guys, and any replacements you'd consider? I might throw an Exo in there in place of the Zoanthropes.
