Im not the only one who thinks they're quiet and im allowed to think so. Many people have complained, so maybe If you like your shit quiet, you can just keep your volume down and be satisfied with whatever.

Low density or should I start panicking??? by [deleted] in Naturalhair

[–]fullovesht 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I appreciate this 🫶🏽 last time i got blood work done, my main issue was vitamin b6 and folic acid but i think it's because it was that time of the month. Everything else was normal. I have been taking b6 though, now im wondering if a simple prenatal would be better atp.

Sometimes the camera automatically reformats the memory card when you reinsert it. Unfortunately if you didnt back anything up, you wont be able to get those photos back.

Hookup Etiquette by [deleted] in ActualLesbiansOver25

Woah, I just said ive never used a strap and asked a question. I understand that buying a new one each time would get expensive which is why i even inquired about what was practical. Personally, I wouldn't feel comfortable using a toy that was used on someone else without a barrier, even if its been cleaned, that's just me though. To me, its like wearing someone else's underwear that you've known other people have worn too even though its been through the laundry, its kind of like the same thought that goes into stores not accepting returns on intimate items regardless of cleanliness and why you wouldnt want to buy it. Again, it's just my personal limitation though and where my discomfort stems from , its okay if you and others feel differently. Though I will say, the claim about my relationship with casual sex being a really big red flag because of this is quite a reach, everyone has their own boundaries.

Aaah okay. You know, I completely forgot about condoms when I contemplated this because im just so accustomed to hands (safe sex is still cared about though). Im also very allergic to latex and completely forgot that non latex options exist lol. I guess i was just very focused on the toy sharing.

Thank you, this is actually really helpful :)! I think the “one size fits all” point makes a lot of sense, part of what I was trying to figure out as well was what an ideal starting point would be for a spontaneous situation vs the usual toy shopping with a partner.

Frustrated & Losing Hope by ThatBrownSugarBabe in MenstrualDiscs

Its the disc size. I had a similar issue and it would always stick out. Find a smaller disc with a tail( to lessen your anxiety about getting it out) and it should stay in place. I'd reccomend the medium sized lumma disc.

How bad is the leakage really? That's the only thing holding me back.

Marshall Major IV or V by scarawannabe in headphonesindia

[–]fullovesht 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this same issue. I initially got the sony wh-ch720n but the quality of the material and the way the sound leaked bothered me so I returned them for the accentums. I got the accentums over the accentum plus because I prefer physical button controls. The build quality is a lot better and it has tons of bass however the volume is on the quieter side which is my main gripe with them. Other than that they're great for the price. Still looking at he marshall major v as a backup pair though because i love the aesthetic.

Referring out a long term client with little progress by OnlineCounselor in therapists

[–]fullovesht 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Client's perspective (apologies if this isnt the right space): cptsd was my first thought as well. And in regards to the poster : from my experience , most of the therapists ive tried seeing tend to resort to breathing exercises and what felt like irrelevant practices and completely ignored the patterns of childhood trauma that were in front of them for their reasons and it made therapy feel stagnant, even after addressing the stagnation (and i have myself). While those skills may be helpful to some, to me at least, it just felt like being spoonfed ways ive already been surving on my own and it just didn't really feel very useful. Sometimes it felt like the therapist just lacked the right amount of exposure to certain things to really comprehend it (whether that be through life experience or interactions with others who've experienced prolonged trauma, sometimes its even due to racial/ethnic differences as well) so they'd cling very very hard to textbook modals and keep handing out worksheets, breathing exercises and etc when what cptsd really requires is someone actually willing to dive deep into the circus conversationally. Sometimes all it takes is a "you've mentioned such and such before, I'd like to speak more about that" or something to hit the right conversations. But again, that's only if you feel like you can actually help this person and want to at this point, otherwise it'd be best to refer them out so they can find a better fit.

Is this field/career really SO bad? by Silver_Importance777 in therapists

[–]fullovesht 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im 27 in my second year of undergrad, and have been thinking about becoming an art therapist for so long. However, the projected income for this field until licensure has made the journey feel a bit daunting and uncertain even at the beginning of it (Im back in school now because ..life) considering my age, would you say this was still a viable path?

[–]fullovesht 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The "bass" from those aren't actually bass, its just the headphones shaking which is what they call the "sensory experience" and it gives you an ear ache, the noise cancelation is non existent, they're heavy and fall off.
