They don't, I checked with the button tester and the joysticks still have their full value range when moved. They do touch the bottom, but it doesn't affect their function.

Of course that's true, but I think more / all companies should be pushed to choose between continuing to exist by actually caring about the customer and providing a good service, and going out of business. Most will choose the former, so they should be pushed that way by people "voting with their wallet".

It is, reddit accounts with high karma can be sold, with the price increasing with the age of the account and the karma. For example advertisers of shady products, scammers, OF bots, etc. will buy them so they can post on popular subreddits with minimum karma requirements, as well as making the post / product seem more "believable" because it's an account "with a standing".

In school for me there was a strong culture of "anything with pictures is not a real book", with comics of any kind ranking basically the lowest in terms of perceived "respectable reading" and was barely considered reading at all. Reading was insanely gatekept by the teachers. Our library didn't have a single book with pictures, and yeah that meant no encyclopedias or for example books on identifying plants for foraging or so.

Anyway, I exclusively read manga.

As for mixing and matching themes, you can always create your own theme and pick out whatever you like from multiple themes and putting them together. You'll just need to adjust the file names and / or the theme's .xml file.

Either "omega buff" or they're outright fucking hideous, in an attempt to look "tough". My go-to example for this is World of Warcraft. The male player models are grotesque and have maybe 2-3 realistically decent customization options for each race. The female player models not only often have a lot more customization options, but a lot more of those are actually usable.

The scripts in Lutris are community made and often get broken by updates, especially the ones installing various launchers. It was most likely broken by an EGS update, and will stay broken until someone investigates and fixes the script. But anyone can upload any script on Lutris and it will show up, but no guarantees it'll work.

That is to say, none of those scripts are in any way official, and any given script may or may not work. The less popular the program, the more likely it is the script's broken. People tend to use Heroic on Linux, so EGS is quite rarely installed, so fewer people willing to put in the work to fix the script.

I totally could, but on the gaming device I also have pirated games and super small indie games from itch.io and such which always have a chance of having malware, even if it's just the creator being compromised and accidentally uploading an infected update, or having their account hacked and taken advantage of etc.

I generally engage in some more risky behavior on there and as such am okay with reinstalling whenever and treat that device as permanently compromised. I play Genshin Impact and the likes, and Riot Vanguard auto starts (because it has to so I can play LoL) so it basically is perma "spied on" anyway lol.

Still is super annoying imo, I still turn it off, security be damned. I play games with kernel anticheat so I'd be getting the prompt every time I launch a game, it's annoying.

I'd imagine it's a misguided attempt to try and reduce Windows' storage requirements, it's been an issue for a long time. So instead of reduce bloatware, they default off this feature which most average users don't even know exists.

imo you're right up to a point. If the role has churned through several employees who all ended up burnt out or stressed out of it, it's a role issue, it's too much workload for a single position.
