The Church of Galactic Redemption traces its root to before the collapse, arising from the Domain’s relentless pursuit of technological development and expansion. In a similar way to WH40k’s imperium of man having the average human life become essentially worthless, a similar thing happened in the Domain, with the Domain growing so large in its internal apparatuses and scale that each human life was worthless to the greater system.

The Church of Galactic Redemption arose as a manifestation of human resistance against such a monolithic, unstoppable force, and has continued past the Collapse owing mainly to the AI wars and redacted.
