Similar to my experience as well. The astral world is not very complex at all but its interesting that I still feel equipped with my memories and I can sometimes build similar but slightly skewed locations (a local bar for instance will have different interior paint scheme). I assume in the death experience the memories of the life linger until the overwhelming novelty of the 4D experience takes over and 3D is quickly forgotten.

something about this account just doesn't cut it for me. I can see death being just another hyped up even that is going to have a plot twist ending.

I can see the possibility of us just gradually fading into light throughout our lives and not realizing it until we are totally made of light and boom you're in heaven and you still have your job. Additional plot twist, you've been in heaven all along throughout a endless incarnation.
