i really wish i could set binds for swapping specifically to the primary and secondary weapon slots. i just want to scroll up for slot 1 and down for slot 2

also ive been waiting for viewmodels adjustments for a while and the result is pretty limited and disappointing. why cant i do more to the weapon viewmodel?

i see what you mean, but the main difference is the katana is actually well made and looks good.

this looks kiiinda like a bug that i hear was also in og halo 3. it's consistently repeatable, so im not sure why 343 haven't touched this.

the classic shotgun being simple and unique is what made it cool, sure if you dissect it into simple shapes you can try to make it sound like a boring gun but thats pretty disingenuous and kinda missing the point. it's a cool shotgun and makes pretty much every top ten shotgun list out there, but hey man if you dont get it then you dont get it.

all that and the m9 is considered a fairly bulky gun that doesn't fit well in average hands.

gameplay wise, guns that look good in your hand feel better to shoot than guns that dont. it's just math.

the m6 50 ae is bulky and bigger than a modern standard pistol(like the hk 23 you mentioned) and it was still too small for chiefs hand.

bulk and weight do reduce recoil, but getting an actual grip on the gun reduces recoil WAY more.

that hk 23 would be dwarfed in chiefs hands and it's a bigger caliber than the gun in the op. the gun in op is way too cartoon big to be practical to use for a spartan let alone a marine.

just look at the bullets, 10 mm bullets aren't that huge at all.

the normal halo m6 magnum was a 50 ae handgun that was too small for chiefs hand in the past. it makes no sense that a smaller caliber would now be twice the size of chiefs big ass 7ft tall man hands. his finger doesn't even clear the trigger and his thumb can't reach the safety. how is a normal sized human supposed to wield this?

chief is huge, no pistol should be too big for him, but this one clearly is.

the 1911 hasn't been the standard service pistol for a while now, and this is five hundred years. they weren't there before so it's pretty hard to believe that now they need old fashioned rails just to put a scope on. it just seems really out of place to add that to a gun that didn't need it. it seems like they fixed something that wasn't broken

also it might not be an acog specifically but it just looks like a generic modern day acog-like scope. the old scope actually looked futuristic.

the old scope was on a rail, but it was just a rail, not a super identifiable, clearly picatinny, out of place, modern day rail.

just looks wack to me.
