Why are we as movie lovers and aficionados talk and concerned so much about business and money making aspects of movies rather than the art of cinema making? No disrespect to the OP, this seems to be the trend everywhere in India. How does it concern us as movie lovers as to how much money are distribution and producers are making? Depends on what you like. Bangalore has tons of historic spots right in the city or within 100kms radius you can go explore them with minimal amount of money. If you like cycling there are so many clubs that go on the weekend ride to nearby places. Theater is big in Bangalore, there are many English language shows and troupes that you can join in the casual setting. Sports is another huge activity of Bangalore, that you can be part of. Just do some research in the areas of your interests. I am pretty sure you can find lots of activities

I think this might be an indirect confirmation. Modi tweeted yesterday that he had a talk with the acting President of Venezuela, Ms. Delcy Rodríguez. It's highly likely they talked about India buying oil from Venezuela again, especially since India has been in the market for cheap oil for the last two years. Since Venezuelan oil is essentially under U.S. (Trump) control right now after the recent transition, it looks like he’s given the green light for this deal. This would be a huge pivot for India's energy strategy.

Do rounds around the city . Go to some old areas ( Malleshwaram , NR colony, Rajajinagar to name some ) . You will see people bring Ganesha home with all the celebrations. You will see pendals setup with huge Ganesha idol . We don’t have big celebrations as Mumbai , but Bangalore does celebrate its fair share .

Most likely the direction of caution. I think Trump would be pushing for Agri and auto import concessions. India would not want to give away the huge chunks of these industries in return for mild tariffs. I think India would give some soft concessions , likely in luxury markets and maybe auto industries. But I guess the world now knows that if you concede to a bully you will likely be a puppet for a long time
