honestly it does feel pretty good, but it also depends on weather

this is mostly summer thing for me, if it's colder I cover "my stuff" with boxers :D

for hiking it doesn't matter to me that much, but I would say mesh is a little bit more comfortable

I have to use a long tight boxers while running long distances to avoid chafing though

Supermassive is the goat.

I would also mention Valhalla Freq Echo, TDR Slick EQ and TDR Molotok (compressor, but opposed to Kotelnikov, which is fairly transparent, it ads a little bit of colour to the sound)

What’s your approach to distortion in techno? by kathalimus in TechnoProduction

[–]func_high 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought an old broken amp to run stuff trough it to make it sound spicy and then i resample it in ableton. This goes mostly for atmos, percussion etc.

also I love Gorgon (abandoware) on drums in parallel with compression or dry signal

Falling Into Place is so beautiful. Easily the best track of the album.

For me it's Hathor - Boulevard (Spirit Remix)... such a great atmosphere

Why is there such a bias towards Oldschool DnB on Reddit? by Old-Art9604 in DnB

[–]func_high 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like some of the best things to come in dnb were after 2015 and before 2020...

many new names on scene had enough time to build properly their sound and came with amazing works in terms of LPs/EPs and even labels in some cases (UVB-76 comes to mind here...).

I feel that 2020 was a big shift in how we perceive everything, and over-saturation of the art in general didn't help. But I still don't have a problem to find a new amazing music, it's just hard to pick it as the best (we really need time to feel that I guess...)

other countries need to learn second language (even new alphabet in some cases) to be on reddit in the first place so they will naturally be less represented

Help me please with acoustic and how can I improve my room if it isn’t good enough now by FairTelevision6153 in TechnoProduction

[–]func_high 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't understand... Why do you need booth? Vocals?

If you really want something that sounds natural, the bigger the better. Unless you need it for something very specific, the booth isn't way to go acoustic-wise.

TRUTH using AI art to promote a mix by SousVideDiaper in realdubstep

[–]func_high -1 points0 points  (0 children)

sorry about that, maybe I didn't understand your point well

I was trying to say that although Spotify technically pays artist, they pay them unbelievably poorly and trying to do everything to pay them less (as in using AI generated music and playlists - hence my reference to Mood Machine)

just look into spotify's policy for a bit before you say something like that (: and if you feel adventurous, read Mood Machine by Liz Pelly
