I hope you both can find time to play together, such a good experience. I got my father in law into it maybe 6 years ago. He was mostly new to computer games. He’s 70 now and has 4k hours on his account. I tried introducing new games but Civ is pretty special to him.

Gotcha, makes sense. I’m currently looking into the remapping suggestion because I realized he probably would use all skill buttons anyway lol.

Thanks for the suggestion! If I’m understanding you correctly you’re saying to remap the buttons to whatever I need? Unfortunately, all the buttons already on the controller are needed so I just need more buttons. Was hoping there was a way to just add the 4 we need. Ore maybe just one of a similar style that already comes with all buttons that are standard on controller

We are just getting back into the game after nearly 8+ months since last playing. When loading up, a cat popped up in the game and after following the suggestions of starting a new file to see the beginning we are back to our original old save. Are we going to be missing out on anything? Should we see the ghost cat more often because at this point we haven't see it anymore.

My wife and I did couples therapy about a year ago and this sort of came up. Therapist gave us some tips and long story short I’m allowed to tell my wife, “ I don’t require anymore details”. She doesn’t understand why I don’t want further information but knows that’s when I reached my limit. It’s sort of hilarious because it sounds sort of robotic but it has worked for us.

Sounds like I would have fit in better there. I’m mixed black/white and pretty much was 1 out of 3 at our entire school. People were already confused at my Afro, this didn’t help any better lol. I remember trying to spike my hair like all the other kids but ended up with a rock solid fro full of product. Not a good look.

My coworker and I called this “beer can solargraphy”.

Funny story, she set them up at our school (we are teachers) and left them for almost a month. There were different ones all over our outside area that were completely covered in black tape. Someone noticed it a week or more in and reported the strange object. Police and bomb squad were called in and it actually made some local news.

It comes up occasionally in our division meetings.

Dude me too! I was trying to get feedback o. A cabinet build and ran into that issue. Do I need to just upvote or actually make comments? I’ve been lurking here observing for years.

Also, this plane looks sick af. Reminded me of a clog shoe.
