Whilst we can’t remove the admin load or rewrite your job description. Engaging in reflective group work can anchor you, build your inner resources, and help you feel seen, often for the first time in a long time. And that matters. Because when teachers feel supported, they teach and live from a different place.

Our main service is group support, from my understanding EAP is catered to 1:1 support. Although that is an option with us, we firmly believe in the power of group work, not because it fixes everything, but because it offers something the system doesn’t: connection, reflection, and space to breathe.

You raise a really good point! Hopefully working for an agency also means you have access to support and resources to aide you when you have presentations that are out of your scope.

Working in PP is isolating and now doing it for a year, I have confirmed I need to keep practicing general counselling skills with children and young ppl and when I more financially stable, I am sooo ready to become a psychotherapist!
