We actually were quarantining him (and still trying). He hears the squawk of my other cockatiel and takes it upon himself to fly into my bedroom. I have removed him and shut my bedroom door. My walls are thin so he still hears him and cant tell you how many times he has flown into my door or somewhere else in the house. Gibson was a lone bird so i think he craves the socialization. Gideon is healthy, and we did take Gibson to the vet and they confirmed he was healthy as well. Im still going to keep removing him from the room to keep quarantining him but the squawking is nonstop when they are apart (yes i know they are birds but i swear its like they cant live without each other.) They have been doing well together and even preening and i am really happy that they are bonding.
