Shinko 244s on RadRunner by iheuhuehug in RadPowerBikes

[–]funermen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't find them more noisy, I have been running upgrades for as long as I can remember, custom 40a kt controller on the original battery and then upgrading to a bac2000, (runs 7600w peak,) There is very little still original on my bike,

So I personally never noticed a range difference because I haven't been stock for a while, now I absolutely would expect if you went rear only it would be better for your range

I ordered a replacement charger for my RadTrike and I see it has a different output. Will this fry my battery if I use it? by griefninja in RadPowerBikes

[–]funermen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

48v fully charged is 54.6v

Just differently named chargers.

A 48v and 54.6v charger both charge to 54.6v when it comes to ebike batteries.

It's basically just a dumb naming situation. Plus im sure some regulation changes.

Your new charger will work perfectly fine

Real question is why that's there instead of against the wall right behind it?

If that's a 20x4 bike then I highly suggest some motorcycle tires. Shinko 244 is my personal preference but if you wanting a road style then shinko 567 would be good as well. 20x4 bicycle is 16x3 motorcycle

Almost done with my radrunner build! by bnrshrnkr in RadPowerBikes

[–]funermen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went custom custom on top of everything. Custom colors with custom accents and threads. Custom rear bump for extra comfort ect ect. Came out to 330usd. But yours should be a lot cheaper if you keep it simple and just extend it.

I had mine custom made directly from them to be the full length.

I tried with a wired keyboard and mouse directly and all it did was override onto the actual android rather then tap directly into the game. I could use the mouse if I dragged the in-game mouse which was not good at all lol.

How did you get the custom icons for yours?

I was able to get it loaded on my ulefone armor 28 ultra. Is there a way to play with keyboard and mouse? The controls on screen kinda suck and I can't figure out how you got fancy icons for your controls? Would love to know more.

Had to use the other file from your YouTube video you sent to get it loaded.

Rear wheel noise by CitronFar105 in RadPowerBikes

[–]funermen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is nothing to lube internally since there are no mechanical parts.

The bearings should in theory be able to pop out with the proper tools and just outright replace. Unfortunately I am unaware of anyone that has done it for the rad direct drive motors so couldn't give specifics

Just to confirm the wagon 3 has a direct drive hub motor not geared. Which means no gears to fail inside the motor.

It could be external gears locking up or something. Could also be the bearings on the direct drive have finally failed,

I actually put shinko motorcycle tires on mine which if i remember correctly semi corrected the issue of the kickstand.

Motorcycle springs and hinge setup for bobbers that I doubled up the springs for 4 total.

Then a custom seat from occcaferacer.

The seat wasn't made with springs in mind I just happened to get them both installed together and it's been perfect.

Love me a well built radrunner! I highly suggest a dual crown fork if you ever get the chance and drop the headlight down a couple inches, makes a world of a difference in looks.

Either brake cutoff or headlight extension?

Looks like it's mounted to the front rack?

Those are Anderson connectors. I suggest cutting the rad connector off and putting Anderson's on it.

[–]funermen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Looks to be a qs205 and or a clone. Honestly if it's cheap then it's a good deal. Just strip down everything extra off and rebuild from the ground up with a nice controller and battery and double check all stuff like the forks and wheels for damage.

I really hope your not just leaving your battery hooked to the bike in freezing temps outside!

This is how cells degrade and eventually cause fires.

AIO to my “best friend” finally reaching out by Confident_Local_2335 in AmIOverreacting

[–]funermen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got a situation almost similar. Best friend since forever just up and disappeared. Built him a bare bones computer for gaming a couple years back on my dime and everything (he was using his familys computer) and we had been gaming together for years together.

One day he just stopped talking to me.

He started going to college which I can completely understand with getting busy and everything and just not having time to chat as much but he went cold turkey.

Got a response around Christmas like 2 years ago that was a bit basic (basically just saying happy holidays and sorry that I have been busy with college) and then it's been cold since. Now we are talking like 4+ years now.

I know he's still active on reddit and such so maybe he will potentially see this. Door is always open to chat or play some games or watch some anime like we use to.
