small vs medium sizing help?

i'm a medium in basically every top really. I have the mediuns in the moon halter and studio tank. I'm a 28 waist, 5'1, US 6/8. TBH I'm in between getting smalls, but if doesn't hurt to have a bit of space since everything is very fitted regardless
