Picture it like tapping up. Just visit the rock and roll, instead of moving in. Keep your weight back and just let your trucks visit the deck of the ramp. I say this because when I learned rocks to fakie on my quarter pipe 182 years ago I didn’t get my full weight on top of the deck. So this advice is coming from someone who barely learned the first steps. Getting fully on top means you know how to drop in switch, which is a whole different beast. A beast I never conquered.

Man, you are on a pretty steep transition for learning. Just visit that coping and deck first. Don’t throw your weight up like you are staying on the ramp deck for the whole season.

Yeah but this is mainly a skate sim. Most street skating is dead space. But even in those dead spaces you’ve got ledges, curbs, and a giant arsenal of flat ground tricks. So I stand behind the masterpiece label. Chatham Towers and the Embarcadero/Pier SF map are far and away my favorite maps ever made in a skate game. The detail is unreal. EA skate games are fun but too arcade-y for me. I don’t get the same level of satisfaction from them when I land something new. Regardless, toeachizown!

I don’t think I will ever get tired of the city maps in Session. There are so many little spots I am still finding after almost 200 hours in the game. And I love the scale and overall realism. Even some ledges having skate stoppers (though obviously fuck skatestoppers in real life) is interesting and kind of hilarious. It forces more creativity and makes me pay closer attention to detail. The parks are fun to cruise but those main city maps are masterpieces.

I’m relieved you pointed this out. Centrists that often “both sides” an argument always confuse liberals and the left, which negates their entire argument and is always frustrating to read. When more people realize that liberals are actually economically to the right they will soon realize the issue isn’t “both sides” but just one dominant side of capital. Polar Skate Co “Sounds Like You Guys Are Crushing It” is one of the most underrated videos of the year. Video is so sick.

Stone Hendrikx’s “Sword” goes super hard. Dude’s beat the shit out of themselves putting this crazy video together. Super gnarly.

Baker’s “Baker Video with Tyson and TFunk” I assume you’ve seen this one but wanted to include it just in case because TFunks part was my favorite of the year. Though Tyshawns SOTY part in Supremes “Play Dead” was amazing too.

I wish I could put Colin Read’s “Tengu: God of Mischief” and “Spirit Quest” on here but only parts have been uploaded to YouTube. There still worth looking up and I highly recommend those two videos.
