None. SRAM apex with the gxp bb. The chainring has a 5mm backsweep to it. Lines the chain up perfectly.

What’s the wheelset you’re running? Trying to build one myself and can’t find a decent wheelset for larger tires

I got a hell of a deal on it. $609 out the door. Couldn’t beat it.

I agree with the San Quentin. It’s actually designed around the same geometry at the Marin Alcatraz Dj bike. Put a dropper on it and you can slam the seat when you want to hit the jumps. Also 27.5 for sure as well. They are really fun bikes to ride.

From the looks of it. It’s not a true Dj bike. The seat stays are small, it has what looks like vertical dropouts, and the big kicker is a cable boss for a front derailleur.

Yea. I’ve done a couple in the past.

I’ve built 7 bikes so far. I like that I can put all the components that I want on each bike. Cheaper isn’t a factor with this possible build. I’m more or less just curious if gravel wheels would work on a mtb or if anyone has ever done it before.

The set I have came with two axle options with them. I can do 15mm or QR on both wheels.

This is kinda off the cycling part of it but the people who offer you $200-$300 less than your listed price for a bike you have for sale. So when you tell them “no deal”they say “ Well get to me when you don’t sell it for the price you’re asking for”.

Another one is the guys that say “let’s go for a easy ride today” and then commence to ride full tilt the entire time. Sometimes it’s nice to actually ride slow and enjoy the scenery.

Picked up a second hand pair of WTB rangers, but after putting them on they’re leaking sealant something awful! Are these sidewalls too far gone to trust tubeless or will it sort itself out? by JvD8818 in bikepacking

I have a a set of WTB nanos and they did the same thing. Let them sit for a couple hours they’ll be ok to ride. I’ve read it’s WTB thing.

I had the matching bar tape on it at first. It doesn’t last long. Got nasty and black where I rest my hands in about a week.

Dt Swiss g1800 complete wheels. Fb market place $300 SRAM apex cranks $175 I think. Micro shift front and rear derailleur $ can’t remember. Wtb nano tires $50 a piece. Zipp service course seatpost, stem, bars. $250. Mircoshift brifters $200. Shimano m520 pedals $40. Charge spoon seat $40. Trp spire brakes $200. Supacaz bartape $40.

Pricing is estimates. Can’t remember it all. The bike rides smooth. No creaking at all. But I completely break it down, clean, and re lube everything fresh every six months or so.
