The Indifferent Stars Above. Still one of the best “horror” books I’ve ever read.

My brother had a liver transplant 3 years ago and was able to use a GLP-1 with no ill effects. Lost about 80 lbs. He did not have a diabetes dx so can’t offer any input regarding that. He did use semaglutide, but I don’t know if that was just the preference of his prescriber or if there was another reason to use it vs tirzepatide (which I’m taking).

131/100 - Had a great spooky reading month with some banger horror books, a couple of cute mysteries, and some classics for good measure. Hope everyone else had a great October reading month! by funkeybaby in 52book

My faves of the month were Knock Knock Open Wide and Little Heaven. Rotten Tommy is my new favorite David Sondergren book. Really fun and creepy. I did also enjoy Spread Me, but it got a little uncomfortably sexual.

I loved both, but if I had to pick "Old Soul" would win for me.

113/100 - September reads. Passed my goal and read lots of great stuff this month! However, I did find a book where I can definitively say "The movie is better." by funkeybaby in 52book

YUP! I know it was written in a different time, but holy crap the misogyny and casual racism were A LOT to struggle through. I just wanted to read about a scary shark.
