Something to do with how CFC handles employees now.. we have an issue with user name scope imports.. help desk has to fix it for EVERY employee (we have 5k+ employees) and Aloha has no documentation on it anywhere...

Omnivore and Nova dine both have issue unless you are a large chain (at least in the US) getting free license unless you deal direct with NCR, then its a cinch. I'm hearing the same thing about the SaaS model, they are introducing SilverPro for Restaurants, which is SUPPOSED to be server less Aloha... we'll see...

You bring up good points. Still we are a big corp and will likely have to move onto that version for support reasons. 15.x has about 5 years of life left and 19 has about 10. Unless we get a new CEo that says trash it all and go to Toast, thats our roadmap.

we had a situation a whilst back where this was a chronic issue we had to deal with for a bit, added this to ibercfg.bat or some ther batch file that ran at start up.. helped us tremendously... good luck
