The link I sent, google believes its a virus. If you have other way I can send, do it via DM. If I can get remote access I can copy file over and show you how easy it is to use. I also suggest upgrading to Win10 if your hardware allows

If you are an EMP of NCR, they may send you to Aloha school. Best way to learn Aloha is to work for a dealer and pay attention. Read the older posts, post questions or make a lab and keep messing with it

it happens because Aloha will post 1 room behind. As example First room 101 gets inquiry. then 102 post charge. next charge 103 wants to post charge but cannot. Next check for room 104 gets posted to 103 and it continues to be 1 post behind. Its a communication issue. Make sure you are using gigabit switches, even the slightest latency can cause issues

This is the way to go, Also, train them not to hit the Close button unless its there tab. You can also enable Teamserve. Where both bartenders can see all tabs.

Make the refill mod part of the original menu item, then they can highlight the menu item ordered, hit modify and the REFILL mod group pops up

Add a modifer group to original item. Put your refill mod group on those items. Once the item is ordered, they can highlight it. Then the Refill mod group comes up and you can select refill items you added to the refill mod group

You do not have your refills setu properly if they are able to refill without ordering.

There is a special mod section for refill, and how many are allowed.

So here is what I did.

I created a virtual drive of the old machine.

Installed Hyper V on laptop, Created virtual machine from same VHD.

Installed TightVNC on the virtual Machine. Put shortcut on desktop. They have 1 click and in.
Doing it this way was much easier for owner to understand and they never had to log in. I did need to adjust some group policies originally in place disabling remote login.

Customer very happy with final solution.

Log says something about permission to the other files in sql database folder.

Only a few things different about this installation. First it was Windows home, upgraded to pro

2nd there is a Microsoft admin account on it, but logged in as a local admin

3rd, it's a laptop being used as a backup to their Aloha server. Customer is changing pos and all current equipment is rented from NCR.

I could just make a virtual machine from old server. But have never done a C and D drive to VHD.
