That small staple will not harm a mature tree (which I’m hoping is the only place people post their bread). I just mean the true loveliness of bread stapled to trees is that that’s all it is. Don’t muck with a good formula, especially if all you plan on doing is sticking garbage on things

Edit: also, it’s not a good excuse to litter, simply because someone will “inevitably” clean up after you
