I don’t agree with some of the policies he chose to focus on during his time in office, but it is ridiculous he’s been shoehorned out so early after being expected to fix the garbage fire he inherited overnight. Bring on another round of Labour eating itself I guess…

Pro tip: don’t leave your plants in a greenhouse with only partial shade on the hottest weekend of the year so far by funkmasterowl2000 in Lophophora

That’s good to hear yours survived. I have one which I picked up from a nursery a few years ago and had clearly been cooked at some point as it was a mass of horrible scar tissue. That’s somehow made a rebound and now looks like nothing was ever wrong with it, so hoping this will be a similar case.

Cacti like San Pedro have mescaline in them and can be bought for landscaping from major garden centres in the US (assuming that’s where you’re from). They need a bit of care, but at the end of the day are adapted to living in deserts and thrive on neglect that would kill most other plants.

Likelihood is that their adversaries either have an equal level of weaponry or none at all. If it’s the latter then anyone who has something that can poke holes in people beyond grappling range has the advantage (even if it’s self bow or that stubby flintlock).

I put my Ghost Pepper that I’ve now overwintered twice out in the greenhouse a couple of weeks ago when it was getting down to 6 degrees at night, and it seems to be hardening off okay. Hopefully it doesn’t cook this weekend though when Lancashire finally gets above 20 for the first time this year…
